Beware of the obvious, it looks just like the truth!
I'm a user experience researcher with a passion for seeing past "the obvious" to uncover the truth, and for creating innovative experiences. Below are some of the projects I have led in the realm of novel user experience work, much of which can be found in peer-reviewed publications.
Note that my research is not about how things look, but how they work (it's just a question of priorities with limited budgets), so apologies to those whose aesthetic design sensibilities are offended.
Also note, that the projects below were more in-depth undertakings that highlight my skillset. And I have sometimes given the impression of being "too scientific" for product org hiring managers in the past. But much of my work in product-land has been extremely fast-paced and scrappy, such that I regularly go from request to report within a week with a normal meeting load.
